It is BETTER than the original Givi brand rack. More places to tie to and easier. Looks good, too. I could not be happier. The service and quality were surprisingly outstanding. They responded to my email queries during the wait-process.

Very solid with clean welds.

The only con I could possibly find is not a problem with the rack. If you are thinking of OVERloading this, (have someone sit on it) I would consider the other model that bolts through the back of the trunk. The leverage will tend to flex the trunk in the seat area. Again, it's not the fault of the rack. If you don't want to drill holes in your pristine trunk panel, and aren't carrying a pair of 75lb dumbells, you should be fine with this one.

I think the black color was the best match for the '89s Pearl White color. Looks great on the bike. Very happy with my purchase.

My beautiful black rack was delivered to Seattle WA in less than 12 days and was installed by me using only the tools in my PC800 tools bag in less than 1 hour. It is everything the other reviewers have said. I am VERY PLEASED with the entire transaction.

Basic line drawing installation pictures would be nice. I am still not certain I put the washers in the right spot, but ithe rack is on and it is secure.

I recommend putting the 2 back bolts in first and then the 2 front bolts.
The payment request went to my Yahoo spam folder (no doubt because it came from Ukraine) so look for it there after placing an order.

I hesitated for a few seconds before making my payment, because of the foreign location, but the other reviews here helped assure me I was making the right decision and I am glad I made the purchase!
